I started my tattooing adventure in early 2024. Since I started, I feel absolute joy every day at getting to do this as a career. Art has always been a passion of mine - I’ve pretty much been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil! I have found a real love for a variety of styles and hold so many influences close to my heart. I love sharing my love of art with other people too. Learning to be a tattoo artist really gives such a gift of getting to share my work with others in such a personal and meaningful way!
As well as being the Apprentice here at Epona, I am also Theresa’s daughter (yeah I know, I guess being cool runs in the family…) Growing up, I've been pretty close with the tattoo world all my life through the connection of my mum's work. I've been hanging around tattoo studios and collecting stickers at conventions since I was a wee babe! I’ve also lent my hand to being receptionist and organiser at Epona previously, so starting my apprentice officially never felt like a huge leap away from what I was already familiar with.
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2022 with a degree in BA Illustration. This really refined my skills and knowledge as an illustrator and graphic artist, as well as helping me to find my artistic flare and personal style. From working with large scale companies and charities on illustrative work, self-publishing my own comics, painting for exhibitions and a whole bunch of lectures and hard work, my time at university was well spent and thoroughly cherished. On top of that, getting to live in Edinburgh was just a dream come true!
Despite being pretty early on in my tattoo career, I am so excited to see where the future takes me and the super cool projects that await!
